This afternoon has been better for JB. The pain management has improved, lowering from a constant 7-9 pain level yesterday to lower than 2-3 now. JB has been sleeping more today, maybe a result of the meds or perhaps because the lower pain is allowing sleep.
JB's sister Julie arrived from Denver this morning to spend a few days with her brother and help be present. It is looking likely the hospital will release JB tomorrow, then we start managing his care from home. Hopefully the pain will continue to be controlled with the drug combo and allow him a more improved quality of life.

SirWilard here... JB... If I could... I would trade you places. A body with out a full mind, is beomming more difficult to interact socially with some sort of grace.
I'm being told by the boi's that I am single, I just don't recall the breakup or the trigger that caused it.
As the future sun sets... I guess I won't care and it won't matter.
In my thoughts...I wish I could trade my old fat body for yours and as I progress into happyland take with me your pain and troubles.

Jason, I appreciate your continued postings here. They are informative and, in some way, soothing to me, and I hope my positive thoughts in return may somehow meld with those of all the many others who love you both and bring some palliative effect. Love is all. You have that understanding, and I trust that provides a source of strength and every possible comfort to the two of you.
