Opening a Corridor
for Azerbaijan's
Next Generation

A BøthOfUs initiative connecting Azerbaijani youth with European expertise, networks, and opportunity — building the international skills that transform potential into impact.

Rooted in Real Experience
from the Ground in Azerbaijan

This initiative grew directly from BøthOfUs's participation at the World Urban Forum 13 held in Baku, Azerbaijan — one of the world's most significant urban development gatherings.

At WUF13 in Baku, we spent significant time with Azerbaijani youth organisations, student groups, and young professionals. What struck us most was the energy and ambition in the room — motivated people ready to engage with the world.

But there was a recurring theme in every conversation: the pathway to international opportunity simply doesn't exist. Young people didn't know how to use LinkedIn professionally, how to apply for EU programmes, or how to present themselves on a global stage.

At the same time, we saw that institutions, including the Ministry of Youth, have the willingness and resources — they just need the right programme and the right partner to make internationalisation real.

This programme is BøthOfUs's answer. We are opening a corridor — structured, funded, and proven — between the EU and Azerbaijan's next generation.

The Skills Gap Is Real

Soft skills, international norms, and professional tools are missing — not due to lack of effort but lack of structured access.

No Channel Exists Yet

There is no established corridor connecting Azerbaijan's youth ecosystem to European programmes and networks.

BøthOfUs Brings the Bridge

With active EU funding (ERASMUS+, EIT HEI) and UN Habitat collaboration, we have the connections and methodology to build it now.

From First Conversation
to Active Partnership

A transparent five-step process — clear milestones, no surprises.

  1. Book a 15-Minute Intro Call

Use the Calendly link to schedule a short introductory conversation. We'll listen to your organisation's context, share programme details, and explore fit. No commitment required — just an honest dialogue.

  2. Alignment & Selection

Due to our limited partner capacity, we carefully evaluate alignment. We look at your youth reach, institutional commitment, and programme fit. Selected partners are notified within one week of the intro call.

  3. Co-Design the Delivery

Together we define roles, activities, and outcomes. We design the delivery model — workshops, bootcamps, online modules, or hybrid — to suit your community's needs and your organisation's context.

  4. Launch & Train

Programme delivery begins for youth participants (18+). BøthOfUs facilitates and leads; your organisation coordinates access on the ground. Progress is tracked and documented at every stage.

  5. Scale & Grow Together

Successful first cohorts open the door to larger EU funding applications, additional programmes, and a deepening partnership. You become a founding institution in a corridor that expands year on year.

We Can Only Collaborate With
Selected Organisations

To preserve quality and depth, we are deliberately limiting this inaugural cohort to a small number of carefully selected partner organisations. This ensures each partner receives genuine attention, co-creation, and measurable impact — not a one-size-fits-all approach.

  • Organisations with active youth communities (aged 18 and above)
  • Universities, ministries, and youth bodies in Azerbaijan
  • WUF13 Baku participating organisations — priority consideration
  • Industry partners open to youth internship and employment pipelines
  • Institutions with genuine commitment to youth internationalisation
